No, but its like most low-rise complexes.
You don't install a boiler in every building/room - you tend to keep the gas pipework as short as possible and run heating pipes instead.

Sweden's quite big on the old zonal heating practice where a centralised commercial/industrial boiler provides heating via hot water pumped to surrounding properties.
I imagine any school would be amongst the first to be connected to such a system as it "internalises" costs within local government.

More efficient to use a wet pipe radiant system, or a heat pump AC system.

For what it's worth, a "gymnasium" in Sweden does not necessarily mean "gym", it's the name of a type of high school.

It's important we don't lose focus here if this is a faulty gas main and not a direct Islamic attack. We need to investigate whether it was a Muslim engineer who installed the pipe or whether any Muslims were involved in any servicing or follow on work.
